Email Triage ("we", "our", or "the Service") is operated by Nimbus Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our email organization service.
By using Email Triage, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Google Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Profile information: Your name, email address, and profile picture
- OAuth tokens: Secure tokens that allow us to access your Gmail on your behalf
2.2 Gmail Data
With your authorization, we access the following Gmail data:
- Email metadata: Sender, recipient, subject line, date, and existing labels
- Email content: The body text of emails (processed for categorization only)
- Gmail labels: We read and create labels to organize your emails
- Contact information: Basic contact data to identify senders and relationships
Important: Email content is processed in real-time by our AI models but is NOT permanently stored. Only metadata (sender, category assignments, your corrections) is retained to improve the service.
2.3 Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the Service:
- Category corrections you make
- Senders you mark as trusted or ignored
- Your category preferences and settings

We use your information exclusively to:
- Categorize emails: Analyze email content to assign appropriate categories
- Apply Gmail labels: Create and manage labels in your Gmail account
- Learn your preferences: Improve categorization accuracy based on your corrections
- Provide the Service: Authenticate you and maintain your account
3.1 Google API Services User Data Policy
Email Triage's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 What We Store
- Account data: Your email address, profile info, and preferences
- OAuth tokens: Encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption
- Email metadata: Sender addresses, category assignments, timestamps
- Your corrections: Category adjustments you make to improve accuracy
4.2 What We Do NOT Store
- Full email body content (processed in memory, not persisted)
- Attachments
- Your Google password
4.3 Security Measures
- OAuth tokens encrypted at rest
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Access controls limiting who can access the infrastructure
- Regular security reviews
5. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:
- Service providers: Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
We do NOT use your email content for advertising or share it with advertisers.
6. AI Processing
Email Triage uses artificial intelligence to categorize your emails:
- Multiple AI models analyze email content to determine categories
- Processing occurs on our secure servers
- Your corrections train a personalized model for your account
- We do not use your data to train models for other users
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Export
You can request a copy of your data at any time by contacting us.
7.2 Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data:
- Use the "Reset Settings" option in the app Settings

7.3 Revoke Access
You can revoke Email Triage's access to your Gmail at any time:

- Active accounts: Data retained while you use the Service
- Inactive accounts: Data may be deleted after 12 months of inactivity
- Deleted accounts: Data removed within 30 days of deletion request
9. Children's Privacy
Email Triage is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
